A2P 10DLC registration
Early access — this feature is rolling out to early partners and may not be enabled on your account yet.
Request access →US carriers require A2P 10DLC registration before software can send texts for your business: a brand registration (your legal business identity) and a campaign registration (what you send, with samples). Registrations are filed through The Campaign Registry, generally via your messaging provider. SignalBack's registration wizard is planned but not built — today you would register through whichever provider you use.
Fees are set by the registry and passed through by providers, so they vary by provider, brand type, and use case, and they change over time. As an order of magnitude, one provider (Twilio) has published a one-time standard brand registration fee in the tens of dollars, a per-campaign vetting fee around $15, and recurring monthly per-campaign fees in the single-digit-to-low-double-digit dollar range. Check your own provider's current pricing rather than relying on these figures. Review timelines also vary; providers describe vetting as taking anywhere from minutes to several weeks depending on brand type and whether manual review is triggered.
The intended design is that campaigns don't wait on this: sequences would run email-first, with SMS joining once approval lands. Neither email nor SMS sending is built yet.
